MyWebGrocer at the FMI Show
What a difference a year makes. Last year we had a good show, we educated the attendees about what we do but it seemed like they weren’t ready to pull the trigger. This year not only did people know who we were, and some of what we do, they were very eager to talk to us.
Our goal for the show was to get people to the booth, both current & prospective clients, and then let them loose on the Sales Team. On the Link side it was talking to CPG companies about our Grocery Ad Network (the largest in the country).
Our message was clear; acquisition/retention/profit – the thought leaders in the industry.
Here are some highlights:
- 11 Press Releases Launched
- Booth next door asking “Are you guys giving away crack or something…I’ve never seen so many people at a booth before”
- Having the first spin of the wheel win 100 bucks!
- People actually wanting our swag
- Attendees/Exhibitors enjoyed our slogan “Basket Size Does Matter”
- I had no idea that there were machines that sort lettuce. I wish I had never seen the pictures of what they sort out of the lettuce.
- From 2 aisles away I could hear the wheel and yelling of winners. It drew people over to see what was going on.
- “The demos I saw given to customers were charged with unstoppable electricity of a company that everyone is interested in talking with. They have heard of us and they want to do business.” – Tim Kenny, COO
